Today was supposed to be a happy day. Bed was coming. Looking forwards to finally sleeping in the master bedroom. First, the boxes the bed is packed in wont get up the stairs. Then, I find out that UpCountry's policy is for credit note only, so now I have over 2k tied up in the f'n store.
Gets worse because today is bonus day. I received my 'variable' pay today but the bank deposit looks much lower than i anticipated. 60% !!! They deducted 60% tax on the income !!! Fricken hell... drop another 14% if I actually chose to buy anything with it, I'm down to keeping 25 cents on the friken dollar!!!
That's it, i'm starting St Patty's early. Get me a drink!
